I just wanted to play the game. Don’t force me to play Arena of the Gods by omitting the option to do anything else. You started this with the tutorial in Age of Empires IV and I don’t like it here either. Having to relaunch the game just to do what I came to do in the first place is annoying.
Didn’t AoE4 have a skip tutorial option on release?
Still a very stupid thing to go right into the game with absolutely ugly graphic settings by default. Thats not going to help at all when the game is already criticised for its graphics.
No, unfortunately it doesn’t have a slip tutorial option. At least since the Anniversary Update came out. I haven’t played the game since that time.
I just started the game (for the first time since the update since I was busy with other stuff).
If you press the play button you just go to the main menu. It doesn’t start Arena of Gods. It was just a banner ad essentially.

They must have changed it since release. There was no option for me to do anything else but Arena of the Gods.
Did you press the play button and ended up in Arena of Gods or did you just immediately Alt+4 the game?
