Wasn’t working last night and for some reason nobody told me.

People are still going through the grieving period. Please give the community time to recover from this setback. :pensive:

I told you this morning XD. Btw everyone should try this mod. The units are super fun, and the language tickles my brain in a very satisfying way.

You should create a presentation of your mod in this thread. Describe the concept of the new civilization, new units and buildings, each with a story behind and screenshot from the game, a deck with available cards, etc.

Without this, max few people will be interested in the mod. The description on the linked subpage with mods is very general, and besides, it is hidden behind an authwall, which limits lurkers interest.

Yeah, guess you’re right, presentations are overdue:

Features:

Can train for villagers for food, wood or coin.

Wonders have different costs and age up times depending.

Their hero is the Babaylan. Beyond normal skills of an asian monk, like gathering treasures, building TPs and TCs, and being able to stun, they also have a charged ability that heals your units. Although superficially similar to Sohei Archers, Babaylanes play more of a support role, with many of their upgrades pushing you towards keeping them in the backlines of your army.

And military units return a portion of their cost when trained.

Unit roster is as follows:

Unique buildings are as follows:

The Kwadra is an hybrid building, working both as Livestock Pen and Stable. And yes, this does mean you do have Water Buffaloes by default.

The Bahay Kubo on the other hand, is their house, but also much more, as they reduce train time of military units around their area of effect, and with the right homecity shipments they can absorb damage meant for nearby units and heal nearby units and buildings.

Naval units are:

Salisipan, perfect middle point between a Canoe and a Caravel.

Karakoa are your raiding vessels. They can train units and move faster the more units they’ve got garrisoned inside.

Joanga are your Frigates. Although they deal pitiful damage, they can train your other ships, acting as really tough floating base out of which you can field your navy.

Finally the Kotta Mara are your siege vessels. They don’t deal as much damage nor do they resist as much as the Monitor, however they fire much faster and you can train them in larger numbers.

So many civs left for AOE 3 DE yet they gutted the game. I’m an advocate of adding more asian civs like Koreans, Siam, Vietnamese, Persians, Omanis, etc. I didn’t expect Philippines can be a independent civ just a revolution to Spain but this mod proves otherwise.

In all honesty this civ was very challenging to give a coherent design.

Because yes, the Philippines as an unified thing before independence wasn’t really a thing so this is mostly a mish-mash of all the peoples who lived in the islands, but at the end of the day I believe it works.

At least the voice acting reflects that. Took me like a year to find voices for all the units cuz I have units who speak:

  • Tagalog (duh)
  • Cebuano (or Bisaya)
  • Pampango
  • Tausug
  • Chavacano
  • And then there’s the Malay speaking ships
