Worse performance with the recent patch.

The performance of the game on my laptop has always been borderline, but improved after I got a cooling pad. Unfortunately, after the latest patch (or possibly the one before the last), I’ve had a marked drop in performance. I rarely had the yellow icon on my games, or opponents complaining of lag. Now it happens regularly if I play more than one game in a row. It appears that my laptop is overheating. I’ve already reduced my graphics settings to the minimum and reduced the frame rate.

Play the game on borderline hardware. Compare the current patch with the build from two patches ago.

someone mentiond something about anti-alias text, see if you can disable it and if it makes any difference

I’d already disabled this previously, but thanks for the tip!

It’s kind of an ongoing issue, I’ve had opponents get really upset and tilted about lag…

they likely have made changes to the game and result in overall worse performance with same hardware. thing is they are constantly adding stuff and some will be more demanding and theres really no way to know.

could you share the spec of your hardware?
