Wu Fire archers

After playing few games against Wu, I do not think their archers should outrange a TC a early castle age with massive damage to buildings. They can even take a castle.

When you check at their stats on tech tree, they should not be able to outrange a castle but it seems they are bugged and has extra range at Castle age.

Someone can confirm ?

They have a longer range against buildings than against units. Presumably the tech tree shows the anti-unit range but not the anti-building range. So it’s not a bug – just bad, nonsensical design.

I think they are unfair. They deal too much damage on budlings. 10 of them are enough to take TC in 35sec seconds.
20 of them take a castle in 1 min.
If they building a castle to cover them, it’s OP, especially in team games with cavalry to destroy rams.

And they also deal solid damage to siege.

They are the most bullshit of all the bullshit units in the game.

What?? They are too weak! Almost as weak as skirmishers versus units, but with no bonus against archers.

And they are bugged against TC only.

In the next patch they’ll be even weaker dealing normal damage against TCs.

Base Range: 9/10 against building.

I didnt tell that they are the best unit in the game, I told the damage vs buildings, especially TC was wrong.
And it’s the case because they gonna be corrected. I just didn’t notice that line in the PUP.

They are like siege specifically good against buildings but extremely weak against other military. Its just a unit to go for when the opponent is booming without army.
