I’m having the same issues exactly as you described.

Many are having this bug crash on the Series X. I had some luck by lowering my resolution to 1080p and my color depth to 24 bit and it seemed to help. Please address if this is being fixed as matchmaking AND customs are unplayable for series X.

This has been happening for about a month now. Its frustrating that it has not been addressed at all. I have this same issue. A work around is to save the game around minute 17 and then wait for the crash. Reload the game and it should be fine. We always safe again around minute 30 just to be safe…
