We are going 2 years now since AOE killed xbox team games by introducing an error via an update where xbox players get sent to the dashboard after accepting an invite from another xbox player. It took months to fix it and after it was fixed, the entire xbox player base moved to playing against PC players.
Now there are no xbox team games for 2 years. Its a circular issue. No xbox players search for team games against other xbox players because no one else is searching. In other words, Devs killed it.
Devs had a chance to revive console teams games when Playstation was added since an entirely new player base is being added which means they would likely be searching team games that xbox players could join. But no instead they bugged console search and again we are back to same problem.
This is absolutely ridiculous. For the love of god – Do the bare minimum and fix xbox vs playstation console games and MAKE an announcement letting console players know so we can revive console team games. Its been 2 years.
Or just add an option for console players to search with the preference of playing other console players.
