The second map of the Yodit campaign (The Right Partner) has a bug where bandits on horseback attack the northern settlement over sea. I am providing screenshot here (only one, since I’m apparently not allowed to attach more). Something tells me this should not happen.
The bandits can be attacked with ships.
This is combined with all the bandits in the map attacking pretty much constantly from the start of the game, which may or may not be related to said bug.

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

ALWAYS

  • Every time I attempt said map.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start the “The Right Partner” map from the Yodit campaign.
  2. Play for a bit. Build, explore…
  3. Your settlements will be attacked often.
  4. Eventually, you will see mounted bandits on the sea.

:arrow_forward: EXPECTED RESULT

Mounted bandits should stay on land as god intended.

  • I have a save file where a rider is attacking from water, but I can’t attach it because new users can not upload attachments

Hi @Naturalcauses
Did it happen just once? If so, it might be related to a bug we’re currently tracking, some units glide through the map randomly sometimes.
Can you try to send me the saved game you have by DM? You can use gofile.io to upload it and then send me the link

@Felizon89 thanks for the reply.
As I said, it happens every time I play that map. Or at the very least, I can start the map with high confidence that it will occur - I wanted screenshots and a save file and I got them on the first try.
Here is a save file - when you load it, you should see a rider attacking the settlement from the water surface.

If you can, try to send me a rec so we can track every movement the AI does.

Ok, I’ll start a game and try to record it until I see the merpeople.
I’m actually curious where they came from anyway.
Edit:
I found a recording that contains it: Here.
It seems that they start in a straight line towards the settlement and just ignore the shoreline.
