“This account recently disconnected from a matchmaking game early”.

There are some cases when the game or teammates fails and after it i’m banned. The game fails. I’m banned. Fine.

  1. Game crashes (game is closed with no messages).
  2. Game hangs (win10 asks: wait for respond? or close? you may wait some minutes, nothing happens)
  3. Game does not hang, but ranking queue hangs (matchmaking is done, chat with team is active, you can chat, timer is “0 sec before the game”, but game does not start forever). The only way is to close the game by hands (alt+F4), and relaunch.
  4. 4v4, one of mates resigns during first minute, you wait a bit, and resign after.

Also there are some other cases when ban is reasonable.

  1. Network is down.
  2. Alt+F4 without “waiting >1 min for nothing” (or like [2], but user waits <1 min).
  3. Some ways to emulate [1] “game crashes”, power off machine or smth like.
  4. Early resign, first in team (you may ban all clique if some mates were in queue together)

I think you may distinguish all these cases. Maybe not [1] vs [7] but all other - sure can.
Last week i was banned cause [1] [2] [3] [4] each at least once. Today even before the first game starts (today it was smth new, [2] in “quick game” when timer is 00:11 and before game starts).

Not relevant. See cases above.

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

I’m banned when problem is on my side. I’m not banned when my random teammates resign or when game crashes (and it sure does after last patch).

This isnt a bug, but this how the game is designed. The game cant really distinguish between a crash or a hang vs an alt F4. So everything is put in the same basket. It all results in a penalty. This is how the devs ‘solved’ the issue.

It also have some other bad results. If you play a team game and your ally leaves in the first minute of the game, then you have three options:

  1. Continu without a player, which is probably guaranteed in a loss, so no one really likes this. I even have had 2v4 games because of players leaving/hanging.
  2. Also resign. But if you do this in the first 5 minutes of the game, then it is still counted as leaving early, so you will get the penalty as well.
  3. Wait until the 5 minute mark and then leave. That is the only way to not get a penalty of increasing length. So you are better off waiting for these 5 minutes then resigning faster.

Currently there are lots of crashes, so you got these case a lot. I really dont enjoy this part of the system.

Whenever the game crashing on loading screen, I get a ban and when I open the game again , a dialogue box appears submitting my experience on the crash. So somehow they can identify a crash but still get queue ban. It happens once every 5-6 matches I play
