Zeus Portrait Missing in God Selection Screen

Issue:

When selecting a god from the god selection screen the Zeus portrait is missing on the left side of the screen.

Trigger Event:

Quick Match and click on the button to choose your major god.

Repro Steps:

  1. Search Quick Match for a multiplayer game.
  2. When placed in the lobby of a multiplayer game, click the button to choose a major god.
  3. Notice the portrait of Zeus is missing.

What mods do you have enabled?

None.
This issue was also flagged in the beta but nothing done with it apparently.

It’s definitely something with your specific installation as we are all having the Zeus icon.

Go to C:\Users\YourAccount\Games and remove everything that starts with Age of Mythology.
I have 3 folders since I played beta as well, you might only have Age of Mythology Retold.

After that go to Steam and click on verify integrity of files and go back into the game, it should be resolved.
