Zhu Xi's Legacy - Ming Dynasty 15% Bonus Damage applying twice to Unique Ranged/Siege Units - Zhuge Nu, Grenadier, and Nest of Bees are receiving the 15% bonus damage twice, effectively getting 32.25% bonus damage

For Zhu Xi’s Legacy, getting both Age IV landmarks gives you Ming Dynasty, which should only give 15% damage buff to unique units.

This works correctly for the Melee Unique Units.

This is not working correctly for Ranged/Siege Unique Units: Zhuge Nu, Grenadier, and Nest of Bees.

This may be happening because Melee units are getting 15% bonus damage applied to their Torch attack, but Ranged/Siege units do not have a secondary/torch attack, and that Torch bonus is being applied incorrectly.

Assume all upgrades researched and Ming Dynasty for examples.

Zhuge Nu:

  • Expected: (6+3) * 1.2 * 1.15 = 12.42 (UI would show 12 damage)
  • Actual: (6+3) * 1.2 * 1.15 * 1.15 = 14.283 (UI shows 14 damage)

Grenadier:

  • Expected: (10) * 1.2 * 1.15 = 13.8 (UI would show 14 damage)
  • Actual: (10) * 1.2 * 1.15 * 1.15 = 15.87 (UI shows 16 damage)

Nest of Bees:

  • Expected: (8) * 1.2 * 1.15 = 11.04 (UI would show 11 damage)
  • Actual: (8) * 1.2 * 1.15 * 1.15 = 12.696 (UI shows 13 damage)

Build: 10.1.48.0

Bumping this in the spirit of fixing things for the big Season 9 Update.

This may be intended, since it doesn’t affect all of Zhu Xi’s military units, and they seem to have several bonuses that make them rely more on their ranged/siege units as a Civ identity.

However, it could still be an overlooked bug that only happens in Late Imperial.
