@H_FE @Felizon89 the out of sync errors seems to have increased with the latest patch. All of our efforts to escalate this issue of out of sync crashes for 4v4 Michi DM are not yileding any results. We have been raising this issue repeatedly since Aug 12, 2025, but there hasn’t been any fix till date. Previosuly, out of sync issue was listed in the tracked bugs here: https://support.ageofempires.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049490811-Age-of-Empires-II-Definitive-Edition-Known-Issues-Solutions but now, it is not even there. What is happening on this and what else can we do for this to be prioritized for resolution? This is incredibly frustrating that dev haven’t done anything on this for almost 3 months now. Can you help get this issue get correct attention and see this to resolution?

The crashes has been inreased very much. Now even 2v2 crashes after 50min gametime without any lags before. Is there hope for fix? @Felizon89 @H_FE

its now been 3 months.. heres a game from 3 days ago. a majority of these games, when they go the distance, they usually end with an out of sync..

captain’s log: day 102 of being unable to finish a dm michi game: it still sucks, thankfully…black friday sale on steam has started. i purchased ghost of tsushima, looking forward to playing a completely finished and wonderful game.

I’m so tired of this… I’ve completely lost all the fun I used to have with this game, and I’m not even eight months in yet. Over 90% of my crashes are due to “out of sync” errors, and despite this being such a massive issue, the developers haven’t reacted at all. There’s no update, no acknowledgment, and it’s not even tracked in the official bug list. How is this acceptable? It’s incredibly frustrating to invest time and energy into a game only to be repeatedly hit by issues that seem completely ignored. I just don’t understand why nothing is being done. @Felizon89

It’s not just 4v4 or 3v3—since the August 12th update, even 2v2 crashes constantly for no reason.

still waiting for a fix, day 103 of crashing. will yo uguys ever do any patch updates to fix the pathfinding issues that potentially lead to the game going out of sync on a constant basis?

another game where 4 players crashed, 2 players remained. this game is very annoying and to think, it all started 8-12-2025 and has only increased in the percentages of games that crash. the amount of times that we have complained (respectfully) that goes ignored bothers me, but when we complain aggressively that is when we get a response. THAT….is what bothers me the most about this game, the HR people or the dev’s whichever or whoever is responsible for checking these posts.

Played 2 more games this morning. Late game lag, pathfinding issues with the trade carts and then they both went out of sync. I’m thinking it’s moreso a pathfinding related issue due to the amount of units on the map. 400 MAX POP, TURBO ENABLED are the settings that seem to bring us problems. I’m starting to wonder if the original devs that created the DE version of this game play tested any of these settings, actually stress tested the game because it doesn’t look like it.

@H_FE @Felizon89 Please let us know if this has been prioritized and if not, please do everything you can to get this addressed. It’s been more than 100 days since this has cropped up and we are not getting any responses on this. This forum is the only means we have to escalate this.
