You can have Halbs on both sides. You can have Pikes on both sides. The result is the same.
Leotis still take 3 hits to kill them while the Camels need 7-8.

actually in the test i ran, with pikes vs halbs, only about 5 lithuanians units survived, so upgrading those pikes to halb might have a much bigger impact then you think, seeing as they do an extra 12 damage a strike to leitis and an extra 2 damage an attack to the lithuanians halbs.

so yeah - guess your claim isn’t as sound as you make it to be.
also - this requires late imperial age, and an effective snowball of leitis to pull this off.

No it only requires a snowball of 10% faster Halbs to pull it off, and that is why It’s almost hard for them to NOT pull it off

no i was contradicting the relics too. it requires a massive investment for the leitis to get to the point where +2 relics can wreck camels. how often do you honestly see 30 leitis on the field?
literally 30 vs 30 fight, means the leitis player invested far more into the fight.
personally i think based on these numbers, the camel player should have some extra camels in the fight. how much gold is 650 stone worth?

The information is correct, however in a later video he goes on to describe how the Keshik wouldn’t do the same thing in the same scenario, which is untrue.
If you run the exact same 12v10 against keshiks, which is actually a faster unit to produce (the reason he has the hussars outnumber them in the first place) the Keshiks win so cleanly that they can recoup the losses of Gold even through a bottomed out market (trade food for gold at 8 per 100, which is lower than bottomed out) so the Keshiks can indeed claim that they are efficient in trash fights against all the same units the Leitis is (Skirms and Hussars) with the Caveat that the Keshik actually produces faster.

I like them but this particular example irked me. Yes, the gold units cost gold, and yes, the castle units are made out of a castle. There’s also a limit to pop space, and the fact that he just says “no, it’s not a good trash unit” when in the lategame everyone’s pop capped with trash and he didn’t provide that caveat for the Leitis is just dishonest. When you have cap of Keshik, you aren’t going to be outnumbered by hussars 2 to 1, and if your opponent has pop-capped on Hussars, you aren’t going to have half his numbers. It’s just plain unrealistic.

not forever, persian WEs are still the beefiest unit
if it’s not already this way, the only thing i would change is that they ca beat Japanese halberdiers equal numbers (since they are so expensive)
Mahouts should be default for WE, and Boiling Oil or some other UT should be added appropriately to Persians.

And that is not because the Balance Discord is convinced that there is perfection achieved but because Devs are busy with fixing AoE3.

Clown Cup = Leitis fest, Lithuanians = S-Tier civ due to relic bonus and relic fight advantage, extra food start (making them viable on any map alone) and super killer Leitis that counters every Halb Paladin civ that is also good on arena…
Piece of evidence: MbL vs Modri g3: Vikings vs Lithuanians. MbL has lead, Mbl besieges Modris base, but then Modri is able to push back all of this by starting the easy Leitis flood.
With Leitis dealing almost as much damage as Handcannons to Halbs (but with the upside of guaranteed damage) they also deal quite well versus these.
KotD is too short in general to have Leitis shine and why you need castles if you can have superiour knights from stables already bringing you the win together with all other broken bonuses. Same for RBW where you more often see players just wreck with op knights and cavalier before even considering Leitis. But yeah thats not enough, tehy can only be broken when they are used over stable units…
As someone keeping track of tournaments of LP I can say Lith are overpresent in every tournament on every map. They are S tier arabia, S tier arena S tier hybrid, thats something no other civ achieved…
Leitis (proper plurarl Leiciai fyi) are a bad unit. A medium cavalry unit with heavy cavalry stats and medium cavalry cost. Something is off there very much and the design of the unit itself is very flawed but I think thats just thematically fitting for Lithuanians.
