If I can dig up my sketches, a pencil, and a hard surface to draw on, I should be able to provide rough sketches that the devs can work from. I should have time in the future.

Wouldn’t it be Hindustanis? Ghaznavids are more Hindustanis than Persians in the game imo.

Personally I think it looks like the Shapur Khast Castle in Iran. Which is why I think it would be a good fit for Persians.
When will this bug be fixed?
It’s been there since the game release and it has never got a fix even though they said they are tracking.

Given how easily the devs moved Spanish and Byzantines to the Mediterranean set, I’m surprised they didn’t move the Persians as well, especially with all the requests for it.
I don’t think there was any push to move Spanish to the Mediterranean set (if there was, I wasn’t around to see it).

And they changed the Vietnamese architecture too. But there’s one thing all of those switches have in common: they didn’t occur until a new version of the game. There’s no precedent for changing the architecture of a civ mid-version. Not saying it shouldn’t happen (it definitely should), but I’m not sure it’s likely.

Agreed. I managed to reskin 4 entire civs in a total of maybe 45 minutes. The devs could do this in 10, tops. They choose not to for some reason, and IMO it’s one of the more egregious issues with the game sinply because it has such an easy fix.

I was gonna message you about a data mod giving the Bohemians, Persians, and Hindustanis different architecture. I think I still will.
Tbh the Hindustani’s case is more complex than the others
Originally, I wanted them to be central asian, but I got told that since the only buildings that looked likevthat are the monuments built by the elite, that the Indian architecture fits alright
Even the Central Asian set doesn’t look quite right. Real Indo-Islamic buildings are less colorful and are usually brown or tan, like the Middle Eastern set, which is what I think they should get.
