I agree it is boring but so is the entire Middle Eastern architecture set. I also find Western and Central European architecture boring.

That makes sense, because you didn’t grow up in a Western culture. I and many other players did, so to us, it’s not boring. I often watch pro games and imagine myself living in the various villages they build.

That’s because it’s trying to be realistic and not fantasy like later sets were. I prefer realistic, grounded sets based on actual buildings.
Central Asian, East Asian are fairly realistic and look great.

Yes. One bad things existence does not justify other bad things existence.
Newer content in the game has been a lot less offensive and a lot more historical then older content.

How can it be offensive if the indivuals that would be offended are hundreds of years dead.

Even then, the Central Asian set is growing on me. I used to hate it.
I don’t know what went wrong in the Definitive Edition, but to me, the East Asian buildings feel washed-out and kind of run together graphically. They weren’t that way in HD.
Seems like you do not like anything Asian. You said you did not like Indian buildings (they poke your eyes), South East Asian buildings, and now Middle Eastern, East Asian and Central Asian are also in your hate list.

Ok ok I shall cool down. I am just a bit too open, can’t hold my observations in my head, I just say it.
Um, I actually like both these sets. It’s just that the former can be a little cluttered at times.
