Add custom maps in the ladder map pool

Suggestions for new maps for map pool next month

We all know every month the map pool got changed. What maps would you see next month? I would love it if the match the maps in the map pool somewhat to the ongoing tournaments. Now we have BoA2 with some nice open maps. It would be great if we can some just 1-2 back into the map pool. It sounds really fun to me if we can play the same maps as the pros do in tournaments. I heard about someone suggesting Land Nomad. It could be easily swapped with just normal nomad. Just to add some variance …

No love for tournaments?!

Why is here almost no love for the ongoing tournaments? Sometimes a message is posted at the front page of the site, but that is all. Battle of Africa 2 ended yesterday. A tournament with 20k prize money involved. I havent seen someone mentioning this tournament. I havent seen any announcement at the front page at this site. Note: This was not just a random tournament. Microsoft was the biggest sponsor. Most of the money was sponsored by Microsoft. Why didnt they promote this tournament? I have…

I both of the threads i gave the suggestion to use maps from ongoing tournaments into the current map pool. I do really think we have a great community with many good map makers and it would be nice to make use of that.

One of the drawbacks i see is as follow: Who is responsible for the map? What happened if the map is put into ranked, but ends up pretty bugged? Is this up to the devs? Is this up to the creator? So things needs to be made clear. But i think that isnt really a big issue, but just some work for the devs.
