Advanced Access

I purchased the Base game last month. I purchased the Premium Upgrade on the 18th of this month… I have waited all day and it is now 8:47 EST, past the Advanced Release and I cannot play still… I have restarted steam over 5 times. Is anyone else not able to play?

J’ai acheté le jeu et sa version premium edition, bah pour être franc je ne peux pas démarrer le jeu, je l’ai désinstaller et réinstallé, puis vérifier le cache, ensuite le faire démarrer en mode administrateur, aucune de mes manipulations n’ont marché hélas :cry:

@adimanavpacman - Support should be able to help resolve this issue, after you have created a Support Ticket.

Same problem here. Why do we have to open a ticket one by one if this seems to be the same problem and the same solution for several players?

@JogadorNove - This is an issue that Support is still actively gathering information for, so by creating the Support Ticket, they can ask you some specific questions to narrow down the cause and will then relay steps that you can each follow in order to resolve it.

are you in PC?
if so can you check your game properties in steam and see if it is showing something like this?

Before posting here I had already checked the integrity of the files, but nothing changed.

so did you checked the installed files thing is it showing you have your game files in your system?
i hope this is not the issue with your case

Now the option to play appeared, without me having done anything, I had just reported the problem to support.

I am having the exaxt same issues. I was gifted the game. I bought the premium to play tonight. Same 0B and unable to play.

report the issue
and check if it get resolved

For everyone who specifically purchased the Standard Edition and then later decided to purchase the Premium Upgrade, it seems that Support was able to identify the cause:

An issue that prevents Standard Edition purchases with the Upgrade version from accessing Advanced Access. We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

To resolve this, we recommend contacting Steam Support to request a refund and then purchasing the Premium Edition. This will save you money compared to the Upgrade Edition and will grant you access to Advanced Access.

so even the premium edition owners have to do the refund method?

@adimanavpacman - From the response provided by Support, it sounds like those impacted by that specific issue are those who purchased the Standard Edition and then later decided to purchase the Premium Upgrade.

If you directly purchased the Age of Mythology: Retold Premium Edition and are unable to launch the game, then the above wouldn’t apply, so best to wait for a reply to your Support Ticket.
