But that’s because the Indian civ is anachronistic - it made no sense to put an Indian civ, when Indians had never been united throughout the middle ages. It’s the equivalent of having a “European” umbrella civ.

This is the equivalent of the Balkan umbrella - India is a region, not a continent!
