Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition - The Wealth of Electors (DLC propose)

We already got 6 of the last 8 in Europe. Why can’t we get love elsewhere instead? 18 total civs are European as is. Almost half.

If we treated the rest of the world’s umbrellas the way mutylator treats European umbrellas we’d need those 9 slots just for China and India. So yeah. I take issue with using 4 slots for Europe bringing them to 22 total civs.

It’s nice to lie and slander people like that?

Or better until then, deal with breaking umbrellas - Slavic (1-2 civs), German (2 civs) and Indian (2-4 civs) + Caucasus DLC (2-3 civs)

Meanwhile what have you proposed recently?
Balkan. 4
Germany. 2
Etc

Plus all your assumptions are based on not having a cap of 48 civs. Yeah easy to propose 4 civs in Africa when you don’t think we have a cap.
Also funny how Africa would only get 4 new civs but you propose 4 for the tiny balkans

Funny how you want to break each eu umbrella but ignore all the non eu umbrellas that aren’t Indian

What did I tell you before?

Why do I have to do the Indian DLC topic if other people have already done it and they are at a high level?

I would sooner do a topic about the Middle East DLC or Caucasus DLC because there are simply fewer such topics.

Doesn’t matter. Fact is that you have now proposed 6 new eu civs minimum despite knowing there is a cap of 48 civs (yes. You were told before).

You can’t keep pushing European civs when we have gotten so many in recent history and not expect pushback.

Stop making up false things about me.

I’m not going to argue with you because it’s fruitless. You don’t like the topic, you don’t have to spoil it - and also get upset that someone has a different opinion from you.

I know civ suggestions are an emotional subject but could we please remain civil.

I don’t know why I get so angry about this. Besides, the slander against me was false. Better to look at your own behavior first and then criticize others.

Saying that I have something against non-European civs is a lie. The argument that I only create topics about Europe is also weak because everyone does what they know better.

Agreed on this, people pushing their civs at each others’ threads has become a nuisance.

If someone has a problem with someone else’ thread then they should go back to their own thread instead of using the same arguments over and over again…

(I’m personally not a huge fan of the civs but I’m not gonna trash your thread for that sole reason)

So only agreement is allowed but actually saying that adding this civ is pointless is not?

Can’t call that a discussion either, if only agreement is allowed.

I do not want to go into every topic focusing on DLC about non-European civs and write about European civs in them because it is offtopic and disrespect for the creator of this topic.

And it is definitely another thing to write that some region needs a little love and it is another thing to argue.

It’s not that consent is needed to give your opinion on an idea. Each opinion is important (even the negative one), but on the condition that it is constructive and substantive.

If someone says that there is a bug in my idea or something not worth adding, I try to turn it into something more attractive.

Recently, I liked this picture from the November PUP the most. The upcoming update could introduce a unique Trade Cart look for each cultural group: European, Asian, Islamic, American and African. I hope these Trade Cart guys will become Villager models for every cultural group in the near future.

A unique Monk for each cultural group (depending on e.g. religion) would also be nice - which is also suggested in my DLC propose.

A unique technology tree for each cultural group is my huge dream. Playing with Japanese / Ethiopian / Aztecs / Saracens with European units is simply weak and incorrect in all respects.

His word is not gospel, why should anyone care about something they thought of doing 20 years ago?
Funny thing is only hapsburgs and swiss are the only 2 missing from the original idea 1111

I combined both of these concepts into one civ - the Bavarians. This way we would have a South German civ with two unique {mercenary} units - Landsknecht and Swiss Pikeman. In addition, this saved space for the second civ - North German, Saxons civ. And so we would kill two birds with one stone (Habsburgs & Swiss in one Bavarians civ and breakdown of the German umbrella).

To be honest, I’d rather not have the Habsburg as a civ, I think dynasties are not good candidates except in some very specific cases.

Probably the Habsburgs civ was supposed to be civ based on the broadly understood Holy Roman Empire.
