The peaks are getting lower tho, which is to be expected. Hopefully it settles at still a high number and we see some organic growth from there.
The days that we should really consider are the last days of the week. I think it could increase the players average a bit more.

The distance between AoE3DE and AoE4 have been about the same for the last 6 days so there is some hope.
The line for AoE3DE is consistently above AoE4 for almost the entire time the last 6 days. It doesnât have a high peak directly after the patch release that slowly goes down as you might expect.
It will be interesting to see how much of a long term effect it will have.
Also interesting to watch the patterns of what time of day people play the different AoE games which tell you what parts of the world people play those games.
The curve looks noticeably different for AoE2DE compared to AoE3DE and AoE4.

The peak time for players seems to be Saturday and Sunday mornings. When I checked all the games at peak time, AoE 2 had 22K, AoE 3 had 15K, & AoE 4 had 12K. All these number are a bit smaller then the actual players cause I just went by the thousand. That a big increase for AoE 3 which at peak time was at 4700 or so. Which is also higher then it used to be.

I think the idea is to increase the player average, and I think it is a goal that is being achieved. The spikes only show the number of simultaneous players, but the drop of these does not mean that many of them are completely gone.
Also look at this, there are just over 10,000 new players to complete the goal.

Pretty good honestly. Donât look at the drop off from peak, but look at longevity. It will be a while before we see any long-term gains. A weekend peak of 10,817 is phenomenal when compared with normal monthly player peaks of 5-6k.

In 17 days I guess. I donât think thereâs gonna be a skin pack vol2, at least for now.
They will follow up in the next few months. The requirements will stay the same to get it

They were thinking about highering the limits !

They could probably recreates with DLC civs - having the chance to try at least one with the free trial would be rather good.
