Issue:
Artificial intelligence does not always respect enemy diplomacy towards other AI players, even when the ‘fixed teams’ option is activated, so it is normal for them to form alliances to attack only human players.

Ballista towers not attacking their enemies, which are literally in front of them (and having the ‘fixed teams’ option enabled):

The AI likes to team up against the human player, they don’t attack each other.

Yes, but I locked teams and set all players to be enemies to each other, in an “all versus all” diplomatic stance.

Even when locked teams are enabled the AI still teams up against the players.

It always angered me the AIs would never attack each other and just plot a way to destroy me and my empire.

They don’t ALWAYS make alliences, though. Last two matches I created with three AI players, enemy diplomacy and fixed teams, it worked (they attacked themselves).

The old AoE II HD AI does the same thing, they kept trying to betray me in a treaty game with standard victory settings.
