Here is the problem I’m experiencing…

The AI will build trading posts on native settlements but not on routes.

Every Game

  • Less than 25% of the time / matches I play (RARELY)
  • 25% of the time / matches I play (SOMETIMES)
  • 50% of the time / matches I play (FREQUENTLY)
  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

I’ve noticed this issue on Treaty matches. Even when the treaty’s over, AI will only ever build trading posts in their immediate surroundings and, as you said, never on routes
