Not sure whether you are sarcastic or not. It is definitely interesting but I think at least pros won’t use them. They love to keep the stone for extra TC or sell in market. And since Champi is scout unit, they will have good LOS anyway.
ALL THE UNIQUE UNITS ARE DIFFERENT FROM EACH OTHER. Do you try to use your brain before you type this stuff up? Also, I still haven’t heard one word from anyone about what utility or role or function you’re going to give, at the minimum 3 UU’s, after we already have almost 80 of them.
Good question, my sibling in game taste. A question in which I have no answer. Must be a scenario-only thing.

I disagree the boyar is a mounted TK spanish uu is a mounted turk uu.even the temple guard seems to be a version of the samurai which can attack faster.Mali and Frank uus are also similar in function.

Thanks for proving my point. There’s already an overlap among unique units even if they’re not nearly the exact same role already like a Woad Raider and a Huskarl. So now even with a slight difference of “X… but on a horse!” how do you expect there to be 80+ unique and meaningful roles for any new UU’s? At some point, you have to start thinking outside the box.

Snares, regen of friendly units on death and damage against “hurt” enemies are gimmicks that sound either annoying,useless or hard to balance
They dont need anything, thats what Im saying. Raw stats and bonus damage would make them unique enough. You are attacking me for saying that these units are unique enough to not need gimmicks by saying that gimmicks are necessary to make unique stuff… Its like if you missed what I was saying
And Im not against all gimmicks. Something like Saracen monks healing in an area is hard to balance and weird to use, but feels natual

Anyway, Bolas rider already have attack bonus vs Cavalry which is unique trait for any CA. They didn’t need WFG’s stunning effect.

The fact that they blow themselves up always made them feel like a joke unit to me. As far as I know, nobody did that on purpose in the Middle Ages.

I hope this is the case. Militia line and other european skinned units should really be culled from all the American civs. Its just looks goofy in 2026.

Yea I actually think they should rename all other “non-monk” monks from different regions. Imams for the Islamic civs, Cardinal for the Iberian civs etc…

Maybe someone else has already discovered it but i think the new siege ship can be spotted on the DLC’s Steam page. First video clip.
I took a screenshot where you can see some ships firing what appears to be the same projectile of the trebuchet at the bottom-left corner. Maybe it is inspired by the chronicles Leviathan.

Two things from the last video clip:
As members of the board had already expected, what appears to be a papaya plant is indeed a Forage Bush alternative.
Not the flags usually seen on loaded transport ships. Or is that also part of the water rework (using flags distinct from the garrison flags of buildings)? I haven’t watched everything related to it.
