Saw some content creators/players steam profiles and they have hidden achievements for AoE2 DE unlocked. So ig some kind of preview/balance build for the DLC is going around (some are couple of days old). My guess is that we will soon get some info … like 1 week at most.

I wish they wouldn’t have teased the roadmap. Is this the roadmap, if you say ‘what’s on the horizon’ I’m expecting actual things instead of ‘content!!’, because… duh.
Can a roadmap be among the ‘part of the events going into the future’? Something we can more concretely understand than vague promises, especially when we know those promises are also true.
It doesn’t even have to be to the likes of ‘X and Y civs part of Z DLC’, but just… ‘a new DLC with X new civs, coming at vague time of the season!’, plans for the future etcetera.

I’m going on a lengthy social media break starting March 1st. Although I’ll still likely be active here, I hope the announcement is before then, so I can talk about it on other social media sites.

This confirms what I said before. They uploaded the DLC to the phoenix version of the game i.e. the beta version testing.

Yes, in fact in aoe 3 they did it for reasons of better representation and that the names were inaccurate or racist…for something they took a haudenosaunee consultant and remade the whole shadow campaign in the 3 DE,which is no longer so historic,but which is also not so offensive…In addition,the community of aoe 3 tends to be more open to changes than that of the 2…

Maybe even devs are not sure. And that’s why there is no hint or announcement.

Let’s not be sad, let’s be happy about the event which has nice portraits and also fixes the font changes (good decision to make it voluntary).
The announcement will come in time when they are ready. And that’s fine for me.
