Here is the problem I’m experiencing…
The Complete nation of the portugese is missing in my homecity list i cant create them and i cant play them offline and online
The enemies can play them and the AI aswell but i am not allowed or smthing
Have reinstalled the game for the 5th time now

i can pick the portugese and create a deck

cant choose them at all

Perhaps a reinstall could resolve this issue.

- Are you running any mods that might be interfering with the display of the civilization?
- Can you confirm the build number you are on and the platform where you’re playing?
- Additionally, did Portugal ever show up for you, or did the civilization disappear at some point after downloading a new update?

Not any Mod is installed on my system for age of empires 3 or age of empires 3 DE
My Buildnumber is Barongbot ( i guess) and im PLaying on Steam and under windows 10
NOPE Portugal never showed up since i firstly installed it and i didnt even realised it because i can acutally play against it so my computer is able to show me the nation with there textures but just cant pick them
I mean i literally installed it 5 times and its still not working out tbh

The Home City file for Portuguese should be in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\[0]\Savegame and the file should be called sp_Portuguese_homecity.xml. Re-installing the game does not alter these files.
If the xml file is there, delete it and re-launch the game. This will cause the game to create a new Portuguese Home City on startup.

Sorry for the late answer but it did work ty so much !

My friend has the same issue but his spanish team is gone. Did you find a remedy? We were playing a game and he was spanish. During the game he could not build nor make any settlers/troops. Essentially he was stuck in age 1 with settlers (hilarious i should add). When the game finished the spanish were gone and have no come back even after reinstalling.
I think the development team should face up to this problem and issue an announcement to promote this solution
I seem to have a similar bug, a couple days ago my lvl 50 Spanish home city became invisible. I have reinstalled the game multiple times. I have also tried the suggested solution, but it did not work. Currently I am running the game through steam, which might make the solution untenable.
