I was playing a custom multiplayer game (2 AI vs. 2 human players) on the Windows Store version of AOEIV on a Windows 11 device, and about an hour or so into the game, AOE IV hard crashed and just disappeared – no warning behaviors such as lagging or freeze-ups, and no error messages. I looked in my computer’s Event Viewer logs and found an entry that appears to be related, with the error message BugSplat-worldsedge_cardinal-release_8_1_0_RTM_Gaming.Desktop.x64.
I have it also. Did you already fix it?
I also have the same error. Mine crashes when trying to start the game.

[/quote]You experienced a sudden crash while playing Age of Empires IV on the Windows Store version, running on Windows 11. The crash generated an error message, “BugSplat-worldsedge_cardinal-release_8_1_0_RTM_Gaming.Desktop.x64,” which suggests a crash report was created. To address this, update both the game and your system, ensure your drivers are up to date, check your hardware for issues, verify game files, and contact official support if the problem persists.
