[AOE3 DE] [BUG] Troops getting stuck in the ditches, cliffs, Water, buildings & Native Settlements

Here is the problem I’m experiencing, units get stuck in trading posts recurrently, even if they were not there to beguin with.

In this case, in the campaign, all those units became stuck just because i assigned them there.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Create a TP
  2. Assign units there
    3.Sometimes they get stuck

That the units wouldnt get stuck, and i didint have to destroy the TP to get them out of there.

Here is the problem I’m experiencing…
Just after building a trade post at a Jesuit Mission with my explorer, I tasked him to go somewhere else. After some time I noticed that my explorer it is still in the same place and after checking his position, he was stuck inside the Jesuit Mission trade post.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Select explorer
  2. Build a trade post with the natives
  3. Move your explorer somewhere else. If he passes close to the trade post, he will get stuck

i order my explorer to build another trade post that was at 6 o clock and it got stuck

  1. build Mil or Plantation
  2. send the villager to work
  3. after some time it goes against the building and gets stuck

The Incan explorer just climbed a cliff and wouldn’t get off. Couldn’t call firemen or anything to bring him down. Not even for his beloved Native Warriors.

Supplying screenshot of stuck unit as per instructions in patch notes. Conquistador created from trading post on Honshu is trapped inside of the impassable area of the native village. It is able to move around inside, but can’t exit.

Hopefully they can fix this, but these groupings were always an issue on legacy too. My suggestion is to always set the waypoint for units from a nat post away from the grouping to help prevent this.

I know it used to exist in legacy as well, but since they are tracking it and ask for information I feel like I should do my part and report when I can :slight_smile:

In this case I had a waypoint set right around where the rest of my troops are standing, but it seems the angle wasn’t quite right so it still got stuck. I usually train them from Native Embassies instead as a work-around, but it shouldn’t be necessary :slight_smile:

Yeah def keep reporting… I didn’t mean to discourage reports of this stuff.

I just don’t expect it to get fixed.
