I create custom campaigns and I’m wondering if the the following buildings and Gaia objects, that were introduced in the DLC’s, are needed for someone to play the campaign.
Sometime ago, I made a Byzantine custom campaign and I placed the Pagan Shrine in various scenarios. For that reason I mentioned in the description of the mod that the Dawn of Dukes DLC was needed to play the campaign. Was I wrong or right?
I think with buying a DLC you only unlock the campaigns and the civs but the editor objects are available to everyone.

No, you can play custom campaigns without needing any DLCs, but you can’t open them in the scenario editor if they use any DLC civs from a DLC you don’t own.

So, there will be no problem, even if I use buildings and gaia objects that are introduced in the DLC’s. If that’s the case, then my cusom campaign about the Byzantines doesn’t need any DLC’s, as long as it doesn’t have any additional civs.
