that’s at least reasonable, but AGAIN WHY? why do they need extra pierce armor? what’s the justification for changing the civ? what’s the justification for adding extra pierce armor to the knight line?

Teuton knights are as fast as condos who arent really that fast. Imo 10% faster speed and 25% less hits to kill archers is better. The OP part would be on knights with +1 pierce armour on castle age.

The +1 melee armor would be in castle age, the pierce armor would be in imperial

but again - what is the justification for changing the bonus? the mere fact that you’d have to remove paladin from teutons to justify giving their units extra pierce armor should show how dumb the change is.

It’s moreso to buff the scoutline while keeping the knightline from being overpowered while still buffing barracks units

or how about this - you accept that there scout line is trash and don’t worry about buffing it.
furthermore the fact that you have to nerf their team game potential into the ground just to justify the change shows why its a terrible change.

To be frank, their scouts are not trash. They do well enough against archers when spammed alongside teutonic knights or siege - the increase in pierce armor would help, but the best option would be to simply give them the first scout upgrade - courtesy of cheaper farms for a good scout spam similar to a goth spam

Condos aren’t slow at all. Sure they are slower than husbandry cav but back when they had one base pierce armour it was enough to turn them into bootleg huskarls lol.

Anyway trying to give a pierce armour bonus to Teutons is dumb. It would make their champions outclass the Teutonic knight even more (which is dumb), it would force to make tons of change to their cav and probs siege too.

Light cav would be a mistake too. Try converting anything from Teutons ever again when suddenly they get both more conversion resistance and an upgraded anti-monk unit.

Condos were super strong because it was a unit that was easy to create that was better than champions in every way posdible. They are currently more or less the same as the original condos but created slower and needing Pavise to be as good as before.

10% faster speed its pretty big on fast units. I would honestly rather have husbandry over paladins.

Teutons will replace Franks as the best pocket civ in team games. 8 p.armor on Paladin is a huge buff. Franks have been the most preferred pocket civ ever since Indians were nerfed hard, so while it might be ok to see the balance shift to Teutons, a lot of people might start crying about it soon and this will get reverted even if this change does come up in the next patch.

Would make them even more powerful on closed map 1v1s.

Won’t change a damn thing. Speed wasn’t the main issue. Its a flawed unit design. War wagons are cheaper have same armor after all upgrades but are much faster and have 9 base attack. And elephant archers are not the reason why Indians are weak.
Imho, Heavy Camels —> Imperial Camels upgrade costs a ton of resources but does very little as compared to any other unit’s final upgrade. Imperial camels either need to get more bonus vs cavalry and camels or get +1/+1 armor and let the upgrade take like 4 mins. This way Indian Heavy Camels won’t be OP but Imperial Camels will still remain strong.

Turks are a DM/late imp civ. As far as early game goes, Scout-line with +1 p.armor makes them very good for feudal aggression and Tgs. In castle age they’re awesome for a castle drop into janissary rush in Arena-like maps. They’re fine imo

This is actually a nerf. Scouts +1 p.armor is much better than 10 hp. 10 hp on spears or skirms in castle age is quite useless. The extra attack bonus is what makes the pike/elite skirm (p.armor also) upgrade quite valuable, not the 5 or 10 hp.

Replacing a very important and great team bonus (trade generating extra gold) with something that’s literally the worst possible thing. Only 3 civs have gunpowder in castle age and 5%/10% is nothing. Its as good as saying Spanish - No team bonus.

Incas - The llama thing is one of the most mediocre bonuses in the game and there’s absolutely no need to nerf it. Towers were nerfed because tower rushes were very strong before DE and still goes on in voobly. Even after the nerf, tower rushes are popular on open and aggressive maps. And its not mandatory to do a tower rush as Incas. You have cheaper castles, great unique units and good unique techs. Farms built 100% faster could be replaced with something innovative like Farmers do fewer rotations or 2 villagers can work on a farm. Not sure how it will impact the gameplay though…

This is just insanely OP man. 10% faster food from hunt, sheep, forage, wood, gold, stone is like combining celts, franks, turks, koreans, mongols, britons bonuses all into a single civ. This will just break the game and make it Age of Incas battles.

Same as current Spanish bonus. When stacked, the team would get 68% more gold than their opponents in late game. Could become too strong in some tg.

Saracens changes seems fine.
