ISSUE EXPERIENCED
Banned and preferred maps do not appear when somebody else is the party leader in a team game. I reposted this issues with new screenshots since this hasn’t been fixed for years
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!
- 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

My screen: it’s kind weird being the first in teams list of players. it should be the host. I can see 2 banned maps

Thanks for bringing this to us. I am not sure if I understand what you are reporting here.
The issue is:
a- I have maps selected as banned/preferred and those are not being respected when I am not the party leader
b- I don’t see the same maps the party leader chose

=> b) You do not see the same maps (banned or preferred) that the party leader has selected.
This is also not a niche issue, as it happens quite frequently. There is clearly a technical problem with how preferred and banned maps are communicated to non-party leader players.
As a non-party leader, you can see when the leader selects bans and a favorite, but you can never be sure that these are the maps the leader has actually chosen. This discrepancy is a frequent topic when queueing with friends, as the maps shown as banned almost never match what is communicated over voice chat.
[Note: a) “I have maps selected as banned/preferred and those are not being respected” is a different problem and only affects Unranked Quickplay to my knowledge (Issues: Quick Play game on a banned map and Map Ban System Failing in Quickplay Teamgame Matchmaking)]
the issue is b. and it happens 100 percent of the time when playing 4vs4
