There’s a few team players just spamming on here about nerfing GH.
As you said the torguud will have it’s price/training time in late game adjusted and the kipchak will get fixed. Aside from those bugs the civ actually needs a buff in feudal because the batch training makes it slow and vulnerable to early aggression.
To me, from the video, it looks more like, Handcannoneers are not OP as they were, and the game is more fair, since you should produce the counters, not a unit to win in any context. GG
Torguds are bodyguards, its number need to be limited
right now its dumb because you just need Golden Tent to produce anything, no need to produce other units or production building, just golden tent and ur good
It’s picked a lot due to the bugged kipchaks and extremely cheap and fast torguuds in imperial, once those are nerfed the pick rate will drop.
There are a ton of balance issues in most of the civs, GH for example once the broken things are fixed it will need a feudal age buff because it has zero tempo early game. Ryokan landmark is also dreadful as is castle of the crow for sengoku, tughlaq aside from healer elephants is weak all round and the governor system needs many changes to be viable it’s far too slow.
For what it’s worth, I didn’t disagree with you, I just didn’t understand what was happening. After you explained with more detail the issue was a bit more apparent. More than anything it’s obviously a problem on the ladder right now.
The problem with identifying issues is many have used hyperbole, claiming a thing in the game is broken and OP, and that has led to an environment where fewer people take criticism at face value. Even something like Lancaster Manors took what felt like weeks for there to be a common consensus of it being a problem.
Until now in the game there are a lot of units limited by number if they are very OP, and for historicity:
Bannermen warriors of Japanese, are limited by the Town Centers upgrades (+1/+3/+5).
Daimyo of Sengoku, are limited by the number of Daimyo Manors (Max:5)
Lancaster Lords are limited to 4.
Black Riders of HRE are limited by 5 for Keep and by 8 if the Keep landmark is picked.
Curiously, in my concept of Timurids, i make another bodyguard elite unit, the Bahadur, with a Limited number, dictated by the number of Keeps.
Torgut would be similar, in this case because Ovoos for the Golden Horde are Unique Building that you can make with a limit of 4 in Imperial Age, maybe can limited by the number of Ovoos (+8 or +10 for each ovvo).
