[Bug] Lobby Matchmaking Error ('Matchmaking search failed')

I’m only reporting this… because it happen to me so many times…
Up to 10 times until find a game.
IT’S VERY FRUSTRATING, because you have to actually pay attention on the queue to reset it.
Because of it find a game, is taking way to long.
Reopen the game does not help.

I can’t be the only one
It happen during the queue.

Also… i’m using a VPN. Because: Disconnect after few minutes playing multiplayer (Problem persists after update) (THX DE)
Not sure if it contribute for this

How often are you seeing this happen? Has it just started recently? The more details you can give us the better!

Very very often.
i will provide more sample/content on it. With more details and timestamps.

I’m experiencing it for at least 3 weeks by now.

@JexBall as you can see this is “very painful” to say a few.

Where is an official solution?
Any dev game readind this problemas about connection?
Joking with players.
I test and fought in BETA program, but the bugs continue…

Thank you for the report, which I’ve escalated to our engineers. There are, however, some additional details we could use to dig into the problem:

  • The platform on which you are playing
  • Your Gamertag and/or Real Steam ID Number (depending on the platform)
  • The approximate date/time when this last affected your matchmaking experience

You can obtain your Real Steam ID by following these steps:

  1. Open your Steam client and choose View , then click Settings .
  2. Choose Interface and check the box that reads, "Display steam URL address when available."
  3. Click OK.
  4. Now click your Steam Profile Name and select View Profile .
  5. Your SteamID will be listed in the URL at the top left as a long number at the end of the URL.

I’ve heard from our team that this issue should no longer be an issue as of today’s update! @Distillerz: can you confirm that it is still happening and update me if it is, please?

Problem persist and i don’t see any patch… does the update got delayed?

I think what could are causing this issue is the VPN.
But i can’t play without VPN because this 140+ days issue:

Thank you for the additional information. To clarify: the issue happens less when you are not using the VPN, but you are then disconnected from the network?

I’ve made a note for our team so they can look into the cause.

Just made the few test and i can confirm.
The problem only happen when i use the VPN.
But i must use a VPN otherwise i get 100% DC for the 5 mins bugs.

So it’s a problem for VPN users only. (it should not happen anyways)

The VPN i use is windscribe
