My guess is we’d get an announcement as late as Gamescom Aug 27th of this year. Xbox is confirmed to be presenting there.
I think it’s possible we get an announcement before this date though so from now until Aug. 27th we’ll know for sure. At least this is my own speculation.
We are so excited to be able to share these two screenshots with you all <3 Please, look forward to more details about the DLC in the near future!
(Yes, I know, Soon™ with no real date that I can announce currently… but we promise, it IS coming!)

yea that much confirms it gamescom but what about my second question ? are the people who make the decisions aware that not everyone plays aoe 2 and plans to play aoe 2 cause for me the pre order bonus is useless since i dont play aoe 2

hey no worries you guys are doing a great job, most of us on here just want to see the game improve and get better overall myself included, I think people where worried because we did not hear from anyone in a while in regards to updates and etc, but now I think that’s over thanks to yourself posting little teases on the upcoming content, i really think the game is moving in the correct direction and please pass on my regards to the development team to the good job they are doing, just keep us updated with the Info you can give away

Toooooooooooooootally get that! And believe me, when I say the entire team wants to improve the game, too. It’s just as frustrating to us when things do not go as planned, hence the countless hours sunk in to then assess further details and continue to work off your feedback to find solutions! The team has several minds coming together, but the community is thousands more above us, so having everyone’s collective voice helps so much more than I can describe. (Pssssssssst! Pleaseeeee go play the Public Update Preview builds on steam!!)
And as one of the CM’s here at Worlde’s Edge, trust me when I say I AM WIGGLING IN MY CHAIR ABSOLUTELY WISHING I COULD SAY MORE LIKE 900000000000% OF THE TIME! When we are “silent”, it’s for a reason—and it’s not for lack of caring—it’s that we’re all working really, really hard in the background trying to make things have a SOLID solution!
