There is still no in-game option to adjust or disable the chat filter, even though the filter has been around for 6 months now.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. Try to type something harmless in chat, like “canals” (an official map name).
  2. Become annoyed that the chat filter is still present without any proper way to disable it, and that it still stars the whole message and not just the offending word/part of the word.

Just a quick bump to note that this is still a relevant issue. The AI behind the chat filter presently doesn’t like when “dock” is part of a longer sentence and will censor the whole thing.

Also, I might add that there is a disabled launch option to set the text moderation level. Unfortunately this command is disabled in the public versions of the game.

I wrote “me too” the other day and it got censored. This thing is beyond ridiculous.
