Civilization Conquest Mod


I have found a way to add any unique structure to any civilization without getting red visual box.

Now, I try to figure out the same thing for the units, such as Teutonic Knight units etc from the campaign.

In the meantime, I work on the Chinese Great Wall to build it again in the new patch.

I have worked on my civilization; but Ottoman Empire and byzantine Empires are going to be the main civilizations with many unique features. To add new those extra similar features on the other civs too will take some time.

@StereoQuasar163 @KnowingLamb8370 @Seicing @PreciousSprout @Ashenone3DM @xtyd3941 @ahioz9426 @GutsYxGameR8485 @AgeofNoob3936 I have completed the new version of the Conquest Mod from the sketch, a few more new units editions and some fire arrow stay on the around effects etc left from the previous mod but I will do them later on, I have added new ideas with the newest version too but I could not test everything fully. I could not be able to solve this Crusader Army units’ red box visual issue on their head, if anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know.

The new features I have applied such as increase the amount of buildings you can build from any civilizations via extra menus have caused some weird bug that confusing AI to build sometimes or making villagers of the player to stop working if you play from Age I. This Content Editor is very limited for creative modders to use really

If you run the game from Age 4 directly, there is no problem. The battles longer and insane level^^. I share some pictures now, there are really cool units and mechanics and new features.



Mod is working as intended but in early Ages, some weird things happening, I don’t know the reason :frowning:

Great to have your mod working again for latest edition. Thanks for all you hard work. Will try and provide feedback.

I check to play with every Age to find out that small bug I experienced, Age II, Age III, Age IV there was no problem. Yesterday I played as Ottoman, Byztanine, Japanese, Mongol and England in the match. I apply a small fix now to check if it is going to fix it.

I have found out to add every civs building in other civs without any problems^^

@Seicing friend, thank you very much for the guidance on the problem I could not know how to fix for a long time.

At squad_loadout_ext > type, I both tried “unit_teutons_hre” and the original version, and both version worked.

@Seicing I have found a way to add any CIVs building or any campaign building into any civilizations to build it without getting red box visual error too, it is very simple, you just add a new menu to Villager and add the buildings you want to build ^^

This unit pre-cache red box problem is fixed too so I can add many cool units from campaigns without any limitations anymore^^.

I have started to make the Crusader Army too to HRE and HRE HA Civs, half of the army units are completed. You can recruit them from the castle.

I have added Crusader Army to HRE and HRE HA from castle, thy are slower but have more armor and health. I have added many variations. I have updated the mod.

I will re-upload the mod again, the new fixes are not applied online - it stucked at v1.2 while it was normally v1.4

I looked for your new updated mod, but I can’t find it in the Age of Empires 4 mods section. Is it currently removed? Thanks for all your hard work and for keeping this mod going! :slight_smile:

I removed it because the AOE4 mod update website has started not to update the mod from v1.2 to v1.4. You might remember, when the content editor launched for the first time, I had encountered this not update issue when you continuously give patches to mod. It seems like thy did not fix this issue still :frowning:

v1.4 covers these:
I have removed the extra menus on the villagers which I found that if you add a building on any menu as long as it is on the villager, you can build any civilizations and campaign buildings :smiley: However, AI has started to make weird behaviors and your own villagers stop working after 15 minutes when you start your game from Age ı; but if you start from Age IV there is no problem. After that I have removed all of the extra menus from every civilizations and then I have start to test the mod from Age I to Age IV to check every behavior of the AI.

I have added Crusader Army to HRE and HRE HA civilizations with many different combinations.

I have learned at the end how to fix those unit model red box issue :smiley: Almost all of the main features I am familiar in Content Editor now.

For a next few weeks I am busy with real life again for my PhD in Aerospace project, I have received full bursary for the following 3 years in UK now^^.

I will add and complete the initial version of the mod after doing these tests to be sure that AI is not acting weird; and by the way, I have fixed the Mongol AI problem too, thy are working as intended now^^.

I hope that you are doing good. I have released the new version of the mod with recent patch at last. However, I have encountered a small problem that I don’t know the reason of it. If you play as a player there is no problem from Age 1 to Age 4 at any civilization gameplay; but the problem lies in the AI teams. If I start from Age 4, AI acts normally. However, when you start the AI (some of the AI civilizations, not all of them) from Age 1 to Age 4, the AI villagers stop working while the AI troops still active but no more AI troops are produced too after a while.

Would you give me feedback to play as Byzantine and Ottoman Civs please? These two works very smoothly even at AI versions. I have added the most unique systems and units at these two civs mainly^^.

Note:
If do you know any solutions for why some of the AI civs’ villagers stop working when you play the game from Age I to Age 4? Age 4 does not have this problem at all.

Sometime this villager stop working bug appears and sometimes not while playing from Age 1.
