I know bug reports should technically be limited to one per post, but I didn’t want to spam the forum, since there are so many. I just grouped these all under ‘tooltip’ or UI errors.
- The Yatai Food Trader tooltip is completely grammatically incorrect. It should say something closer to: ‘Produced when the Yatai fills up with food, it travels to the Home Matsuri to drop off bonus food and improves the Matsuri Aura”
- The Brewery Transporter similarly uses the progressive tense incorrectly in its tooltip. It should say “Brewery worker that is delivering to the Matsuri”, or “Brewery worker that delivers to the Matsuri”
- The ‘Tate Ready’ ability tooltip (visible while the Tanegashima Ashigaru is moving) incorrectly states that the ability grants +8 range.
- The Ikko Ikki tooltip states that they can heal themselves, but they can’t.
- The Angevin Empire upgrade still refers to Docks instead of Harbors
- After the Sword Hunt Statue is built, the in-game ability description for the Daimyo Aura incorrectly states that Daimyo will increase the movement speed of units by +0.2, and it does not correctly update the Daimyo Rally Cry bonus if the Sword Hunt Statue is built.
- The Grand Fulani corral tooltip still says it generates 20 food per minute
- The Governor of Jalor tooltip should say either ‘Stables within the influence… produce units with more health’ or ‘Cavalry trained within the influence…have more health’, but not ‘Cavalry trained… produce units’, since the cavalry itself is not producing units.
- The Tower of victory ability tooltip still says 15%, when it was buffed to 20%
- The Harbor tooltip and Tughlaq Dynasty tech tree bonuses refers to Fishing Ships, not Fishing Boats, as they are called in Age of Empires IV
- The Tughlaq dynasty tech tree icons for Benefactor (i.e. Ajmer Benefactor) do not match in-game icons and functionality. In the tech tree, they have the portrait of the governor, whereas in-game, they have the banners. There is also no indication that they are a tier three upgrade that requires Shahi Walls and Red Brick Bastions to research.
- The UI indicates that Amir Warriors benefit from Khanda Drills when they do not.
- The Description for Field Repair Site says its requirements are “NOT Field Repair Site”, which is confusing in English. It should say something like “Field Repair Site not active”
- The Stone Armies tooltip just has a weird percentage variable in place of the production speed decrease value
- On the Ballista Elephant tooltip: ‘Ballista-mounted elephant’ grammatically means that elephant is mounted on ballista, not the other way around
- The Tughlaqabad Fort Overwatch tooltip only states that production speed is increased, but technology research speed is also increased, meaning it is the Dock’s work rate that is increased.
- The Kharash weapon says ‘sword’ despite being axe.
- The Battlefield Salvage tooltip combines present and progressive tense. It should say either ‘increasing their health’ or something like ‘equipped with shields that grant +2 …’
I haven’t finished looking, so I may add a second post with other errors if I find any more, but I wanted to post these now before they get too overwhelming.
