The most biodiverse place in the world cannot be reduced to a simple river. Without mentioning the amount of native populations that inhabit it or inhabited it.
This is one of the characteristics that I like the most about AOE-3, and it is the amount of ecosystems that it manages to show. In this aspect, South America has a lot to offer in this respect.
The october update has Minas Gerais and Bahia maps. And they look prety nice. The only thinh I would add to this update is to have some semi-arid environment for the west part of Bahia map, reflecting the catinga biome
I just found it in the ESOC maps page, so thank you. I didn’t have the chance of playing it yet, but if it’s on ESOC it’s a good map although that huge cliff segment and those empty spaces taking lots of space are weird.
The best custom map I’ve played was Alberta: and it bugs me why it hasn’t been added yet because this map is so damn GOOD and gorgeous!! But now that I’m looking at it again, it does remind me a lot of the new Minas Gerais.
.
Forgotten Empires’ version is more balanced but I would just keep the 2 trading posts instead of going 4 in their version.
I revamped it from my Alberta map (which was never on ESOC Patch). In 1v1 Minas Gerais also has only 2 trade sockets on the route. Both versions have 4 in team games.
Glad to hear you really enjoyed Alberta though, I did as well!
Kkkkk
