we had a long and heated discussion on this in a different topic (Please Devs, this wasteland needs your aid!), but the summary:
“Vikings” is a perfectly fine name, not just for the Nordic raiders, but also their entire culture.
Many historians use “Norse” to distinguish Norwegian and Swedish vikings from Danish vikings. So unless there is a split of vikings in the works (I hope not), using “Norse” instead of “Vikings” seems pointlessly restrictive.
