That is the Sicilians UU, the Serjeant.
That faceplate was actually very common in Northern European and Eastern European helmets, it is part of the Norse helm design tradition.
That seems to me like an early version of the Varangian guard helms.
I damned want that…as my COVID-19 mask. Still using an N-95.
Yeees… New units for custom scenarios… I want more !
Hopefully these have actual skins to match them not just icons.
See the hero unit in the middle. It looks like this unit - zoom into the image.
These are likely icons which will be unlocked with the new achievements.
The guy with the chain is likely the Burgundian.
When it comes to Icons but not unit skins, I am always reminded of that African Monk icon model. Why devs, why create a model to render a unit icon but not the unit animation? What a waste of resources.
Exactly just lazy work, people are paying for this.
You can see which Icon goes with which Achievement (from left to right top row to bottom):
- Unchivalrous Pragmatist (Edward Longshanks Mission 1)
- Self-Made Man (Hauteville Mission 1)
- The Good, the Bold, and the Fearless (Complete the Dukes of the West Campaign)
- Haute, Haute, brief candle! (Hauteville Mission 2)
- Italy Jones and the First Crusade (Hauteville Mission 4)
- The English Justinian (Complete Edward Longshanks Campaign)
Tan-tara-tah!
Tan-tarahhhh…
Nice icons, Cool Looking
Are they going to be releasing any new promotional material like a video or something so that we see the new units in action?
The DLC is set to release in a week!
What about the streamers who beta tested DE?
I personnaly like this one very much
Indeed, a trailer would be very nice!
I do not care much about trailers, but I would love to see the Tech Trees, at least.
And some surprise content 11
This Norman Crusader knight is my favorite by far.
I preordered the DLC on Steam. Will it automatically start downloading on 26 January, or do I still have to do something myself?
Any idea at which hour it would be released next Tuesday?
