Do we know the full stats of the Chonicles units?

How much bonus damage do Hoplite, Chariot and the unique units have?
What armour classes do they have?
Are Immortals tagged as Archers? Do they receive bonus damage from Skirmishers?

What stat bonus do all the Auras give?

Are there any stat differences between Chronicles and AoE2 units?

Short answer: no.
Only few content creators, which have the early access DLC, check the stats on the Editor (Ornlu is one of them). We have to wait to the release to have all the units stats in the wiki page.

So none of the content creators opened up AGE?

have review you can looking for on youtube but sad realy, Hoplite is weak and not get bonus with cavalry, no bonus damage in a gruop( phalanx). chariot still worse than hoplite when have cost 65w 65g ( 160hp 12 damage 2mele armor 1 peirce armor _ eliite) :v chariot they get both range and melle attack, aizz, 65 gold for it too expensive, bad from this DLC, Sparta too hoplite too weak and wrong everything when make it like a AOE 2 civ, it not same time remember, and if 1 vs 1 hoplite can kill a man with out shield easy with his spear and sword. Hoplite weapon together spear and sword -- , pre order game but really disappointed. I ask you call feedback to micro about worst thing ever DLC I get for My civ My childhood my unit -- can’t believe 14 year waitting for Sparta and screen nice and get information I see I seem I’m a donkey

Zetnus (an rms scripter with early access) has. He wasn’t looking at unit stats though. He did find an unconvertible goat.

They get bonus armor instead (which is arguably both more useful and more thematically appropriate)

That is unfortunate.

Because from the looks of it all the regional and unique units seem kinda weak.
MikeEmpires videos show the new UUs lose against most of the current UUs without micro. Infantry should win without micro since they are the type of unit with the lowest micro potential
If Crossbow and Knight have the same stats like in AoE2 then they will dominate this DLC too.

I know there is a lot of Auras to buff units but most of them affect Crossbows and Knights too.

Also the Milita line only has 4 units. Is the last unit a Two Handed Swordsman or a Champion?

@@! no phalanx is formation for attack + defend ( phalanx Macedonia for attack) turtle Rome ( for intrusion and attack) bonus armor look not really good they are not simple infantry, not spear man , sword man, berseck.v.v.v they are all spear + sword.

lacking for archer chariot, sword man no, in this age unit use sword and shield together, spear man too, it is not AOE 2 @@! weapon most expensive @@!

Swordsman exist as a unit.
Do you want a unit that can switch between Spear and Sword?

Maybe Chariot Archers will be added in future Chronicles Games.
Chariots were not really used anymore at that time though. Chariots are a Bronze Age weapon.

yes unit, but unit work like an spear man and special in phalanx it still more than Unit, Monaspa what reason they get bonus damage while indeed Phalanx the true think have it.
and ? chariot archer is not at that time? so chariot how it can be appear in this game ( i alway disappointed with logic of Microsof in AOE 2 but this time ?? I am really a donkey for believing in DLC and Micro for Civ

It makes more sense that Phalanx gives more armour because they protect each other with shields.
They are not getting better at attacking because they stand next to each other.

Also did the Persians ever use Chariot Archers?

phalanx where is spear work best in combat, special with horse man
do you really reseach about history of Persia? in War time with Egyp they use archer chariot_ Macdedonia too_ not only chariot, they use together archer on there,
chariot weapon include spear, bow, sword it is not a horse, 3 man on 1 chariot up to ellite ( it can with huge stand_ Chinese have chariot with 3 man on)

Yes but there is no Egypt, Macedonia or China in the game yet.

yes but Persia have, and they already get archer chariot, beside the hoplite of Sparta

Hi there. I opened AGE after update 125283 was installed, and the new units were already there. I assume that anyone with the update has the new data?

Most of them are currently invisible due to lack of graphics, though. But I found a few working new eye candies, or whatever they are intended for (IDs 2373, 2378, 2379, 2380). And the Broken Cart now has additional antiquity-themed assetts.

Yes, the new units, techs, civs, mechanics are already in the main data file, just without graphics or the ability to select the new civs.

That is some games played

That is stuff from scenario editor

You get early access to DLC despite not having too many youtube subscribers.

I looked at the unit stats on AGE. Hoplites seem really kinda weak.
They just do +4 vs Buildings. The strange part is that Elite Hoplites only +2 vs. buildings with 2 more melee attack.
What makes them better then the Militia Line? They even cost more.

Chariots do relatively much bonus damage vs. Infantry so they will likely counter every Infantry unit outside of the Spearman Line since they still receive full bonus damage. They are kinda worse Cataphracts in that regard.

So what will stop this DLC from just becoming Knight vs. Crossbow spam again?

Am I missing something?
