Does Microsoft gives a **** about Aoe4

The conflict between AOE 2 and 3 are mostly because of the playstyle. Like cards, limited defense and population, even time frame. These are intentional designs and are not likely to change forever. AOE3 was not released without color selection, zoom options, taunts, cheats or the map editor.
When it comes to AOE4 however there is another layer of “lacking basic functions”.
The former is inevitable and what you can blame people for “never being satisfied”.
The latter can and could have been totally avoided and people will be satisfied the moment they are completed.

I remember AOE4 was aiming at taking over SC2 as the next big esports RTS and attract players from the entire RTS genre.
Even without new players into the genre, that should already be a huge number.

I resist any attempts to compare AoE4 to CoH3 or any other Relic title. Relic’s past or future games are fully irrelevant to whether AoE4 is up to the standards that the Age of Empires franchise has set and met for the last 25 years. I had never heard of Relic before AoE4 was announced and have never played any of their games. We should not need to do any of those things to make an informed decision about AoE4.

It’s fine if you like Relic games. It is fine if you do not. But the entire thing is off topic.

same as they did with gfwl with aoeo and the rerason why that aoe failed

rather I have complained about the game, in terms of user intefz it seems to have no art design team

if the game is like coh2 it will only have one melody for the game, if you compare with the soundtrack of aoe4, it shows where the money really is

also from the first alpha of coh3 it did not have reassignable hotkeys, in the last alpha mission of Africa it only has predetermined hotkeys, they are games made Relic but it shows in aoe4 is where the money really is

Coh has almost the same number of players online even though aoe4 only has 1v1 rankeds, however aoe4 has been awarded thousands in tournament.

Don’t go out with tales that coh is where the funding is, coh has never had tournaments like age of empires. because their community is larger and does not compare to the community of coh, age of empires is played even by women in coh I have not seen any women play it, so do not come up with false hypotheses

They did the same with AoEIIIDE. Gotta get it out because 2021 is the year of AoEIV.

And thus AoEIIIDE was released in a terrible state.

those games have finished games version backup to mantain in check the backslash but with aoe 4 is different because is a new one in the franchise

You are comparing COH 1 from 2006 and coh2 from 2012 to age IV? And Coh2 having the same player base as age IV?

Lol!

Aslo coh1-2 have multipple melodies and faction music, if you play British they have their own music if you play PE ad well…

Age IV if were designed properly and with correct art style and if we’re designed to the correct audience it would have tons of players online… Just look at age 2 DE numbers… Age of empires is a super popular franchise but age IV is not doing well.

Is age IV music really better than COH? Lol next time you want to compared COH with age IV proceed to Wikipedia COH and check game rewards…

I have played Allies and Wehrmacht and it is always the same music in the games, British I hardly play
minute

don’t resent it, I also like coh, that’s why I’m in your forums, regarding aoe2, the players are from Argentina and Chile, I don’t see success in that

Right on Andy, I don’t care what CoH is like we are talking about AoE here. They never should have used relic as the developer, I had never heard of them before aoe 4 but have tried CoH 2, not impressed, very clunky and there is not tutorial how to play I played it for maybe an hour because I got it for free a year ago or so, haven’t touched it since

that you don’t like it doesn’t give you the right to defame the game, the game has its own tutorials

the game is among the first with online players

It said I didn’t like it that doesn’t mean I defamed the game don’t take it so personally I wasn’t talking to you, also on the tutorial note I work with someone who is in the top 100 CoH players, and he agreed with me that there is not really a tutorial to learn the game

ok, now that you’re talking to me, if you don’t want us to read then write to him internally, second: Helping Hans has had tutorials for 8 years, content creators appeared in the game interface, I think your comments seem in bad faith

I have refuted your false argument that there are no tutorials bye bye

Tutorials that are created by third parties are not what I’m talking about, I mean one built into the game. If I get a new game I click on the tutorial to learn how to play, I shouldn’t have to go find some third party content creator to learn how the game works Also I trust the opinion of someone I know who is very highly experienced and ranked in the game then some random guy on the AoE forums. So you haven’t refuted anything. You don’t need to be outraged because someone doesn’t like a game that you like

there is the mission of the tutorial, if you don’t like the tutorial it’s up to you, for me it seems enough to understand the game.

the first mission of the campaign is a tutorial

refuted bye

also no way to remap hotkeys unless u mod the game with clunky methods from community guides. I tried but nope its better to leave it alone

You are on forums but don’t know of Youtube and the countless tutorials on there for almost every game under the sun?
