[DONE] Greatest AI Mod Ever Made - Black Power, Black Leaders, African Queens, Prince of Cities, DBZ (V 10.0)

I had to make this seperate thread as it would not let me update the old one.

This AI can be played on all deathmatch and conquer settings but prefers 300+ population Use this with Caution!!! If added to all AI in a game, will lead to gameplay so fun you will never go back. This is my first of many drops. Matches play out very interestingly in the short, mid and long game. Add multiple AI in a game and be ready to experience war, changing sides, friends becoming foes and more. Let me know if more is wanted.

Consciousness in the real world requires continuous thought. These AI mimic this by streaming commands in the chat to themselves and other civs that each of them have reactions for. So essentially each AI can communicate with each other and have responses based on its own conditions and the conditions of those around them . All of which can change relationships from ally to enemy at any time between any civ. That coupled with a Social Economic Debt system built in using the market and trade systems makes it that each AI can ask for any resource when reserves are low and fulfill any resource request for any civ. If a civ receives more than a certain amount of resources from civ they can request to become allies via the chat. That civ who sent the resources can then choose to accept the ally request or not. If accepted they become allies. In the same vain, if one of those allies gets to big and gets an army too large they can turn on each other and become enemies. Many micro systems like these are implement to keep the AI constantly making breaking and forging new alliances all through the game.

This works on human vs cpu as well but only works if you add it to the file of the computer AI you want play against. I converted it over from AoE2:HD. You can also play as the AI that has this mod added and see how it communicates and plans.

You can see the performance of my AI that use this IQ booster. I have been converting from old AoE2 & AoE2HD files. Mine clearly dominate the standard AI on Hard, Hardest & Extreme.

Challonge.com - Link to a tournament showing result of many 8 on 8 battles. Each AI is using the files here vs the AI from the game. I’m am modernizing different old AI to play on the new game. I am currently running this tournament to continue to test and fix old AI. Once done will share the AI files etc here.

also instead of putting it on mod DB, why not put it onto mod manager in the game?

theres an exe file that should be removed before you can upload it.

Let me know if you are seeing specific errors as this was built for DE and it should work. As for publishing to the Mod Manager, that is my next step. I will be publishing there in a week or so. I have just been publishing to the blogs like this in the meantime as I would like for people to test it and use it and let me know if any bugs before publishing. Again if you are having issues using it on DE let me know as that is my goal to fix any issues before publishing to the mod manager.

Would be good if you explain the ai behavior a bit more, like what does the PATROLLING AI do ? Just patrolling the military units or how ? Or example the monk ai, does it just use monks ? And why is there a trader ai? Does it only trade? Or doesn’t the other AIS trade?
It’s a bit unclear.

I’ve tried this. Once. And let me say, it’s just not very fun to play. Giving them cheat level bonus res allows them to turn up at your base within ten mins with over 30 militia, which is just stupid. Really not impressed to be honest. Also, the names are really strange for most of them, it just seems really random.

Its not a joke, you can’t download from the mod manager or anything, you have to download from the link provided, then copy the files into the actual mod format they should be in, and then you can play it. I really don’t advise downloading though, see my review above, it’s just not fun to play.

Goal is being able to add better descriptions and a true Ranking number for each AI.

@TheConqueror753 As for playing against these AI as a human. That def is a hard task as these AI are built to be better than any human could be. These AI are built for AI vs AI fights. So that might help explain your perspective. If you would like to make them easier to fight as human only. Try turning off Allow Cheats before starting a new skirmish.

Allow cheats was off. I never play with it on. It’s not impossible I messed up my settings, but it is highly unlikely.

Yes, I just tested it, there are no cheats, yet the AI is still cheating. I also don’t see the point in publishing an AI mod if the AIs are just meant to fight one another. You could just enter your best AI into one of the AI competitions, because when people download a new AI, they want to be able to fight it, it’s boring just watching bots fight each other.
