Dynasties of India Event Main Menu not applied/Removed from My Mods upon relaunching AOEIIDE

Cannot apply the Dynasties of India Main Menu background. Each time you have to restart the game to apply the background, it is removed from My Mods upon restarting the AOEII.exe & I only have the default main menu.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Subscribe to the India Main Menu background
2. Exit the game
3. Relaunch the game
4. India Main Menu is not showing

EXPECTED RESULT

India Main Menu should be applied as the background

Does not happen to me. Did you try disabling all other mods?

Hello,

I have just tried to fix the problem by disabling all mods & the India main menu background mod is still being removed from My Mods on startup of the game’s .exe & not being shown on the main menu. Is there anything else I can do to try & fix this?

You can try coping the mod to your local mods (from subscribed). The mods are located in C:\Users<your user name>\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE<Steam ID number>\mods

I have tried this too & it doesn’t work. The India Main Menu mod also gets removed from the local folder on start-up.
