They are definitely placeholders, but someone spent man-hours to put these references in instead of just making a text icon such as the one for the Farmer:
lol, they made the carpenter look like Jesus, because he was a carpenter and they actually used Viceroy Nute Gunray from Star Wars as Viceroy, hahaha.
