Expecting more new vegetation with new DLC

Since the new DLC being confirmed as South American, I will highly request to have a new skin for “Forage Bush” replacing Berries with Pine Apple. Or should we call it Ananas? Literally every single language call it Ananas or some variation except for English.

This can easily be fixed by playing the game in any of the available languages other then English, lol.

I don’t understand any other in game language. Better to fix the English language vocabulary. How could they mess up this one. 11

In Portuguese we can also call it Ananás, but normally we call it Abacaxi.

In Bangla we call it Anaros. The change from “N” to “R” is probably due to the fact that “Ros” (pronounced as Raw-s) means juice or syrup.

I don’t remember all the event mods. And I don’t want mod. I want official skin at scenario editor. Currently we have only 2.

This one:

Would not be the first time that something from an event mod becomes a permanent part of the game. This year they added terrains from a spring event.

Pineapple in Odia is Sapuri. It’s super odd, as most of the world uses a version of Ananas. The root of Sapuri is a mystery. Any ideas why Odia completely skipped the common name?

This looks more like some colourful lanterns than pine apple.

They can recolor it to look like normal pineapples.

Maybe it was introduced by a none european people?

English and Odia need to be locked in a room until they agree to change their vocabulary to “Ananas” or some similar sounding words. 11

English speakers originally called it ananas, but a few years later decided to call it pineapple because it looks like a big pine cone (which at the time were also called pineapples). For about 200 years ananas and pineapple were used interchangeably, but eventually pineapple won.

At least that’s what the OED tells me. Wikipedia has a longer and more convoluted story that contradicts itself and doesn’t make much sense. So I’m going with the OED explanation on this one.

Pineapples can be quite brightly coloured when on the plant… But yeah, not like that.

I am really intrigued to know what inappropriate thing you said about pineapples… but I guess I won’t find out.

I didn’t understand either lol

It was a joke about how “Technicolor Pineapple” would be a cool name for a band or something like that.

I said that “Technicolor Pineapple” would be a good band name if I wasn’t planning on making serious and emotional music.

Why would anyone report it or get reported?

I have no idea. I thought it was funny and clever. I guess it was just too off-topic.

This is awesome…

Yes, banana plantations in India and Southeast Asia and apple orchards in Europe…
