I’d just like to point out that I was correct with my DLC release date prediction of November 14th The numbers just spoke for themselves lol

New surprise DLC on 25th anniversary?

November 14th AoE2:DE came out Nov 14, 2019, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original, even though its timing wasn’t exact month to AoK’s release date. So, Nov 14th seems reasonable to me. It’d be a 5 year anniversary of AoE2:DE, while also helping to celebrate 25th anniversary of AoK. And if that wasn’t enough proof, keep in mind November is the 11th month: ‘11’ added together = 2. This is AoE “2” AoE’s famous taunt = 11 And the 14th day: 1+4 = 5. This is the "5"th year anniver…

Regarding OP of this thread, seems odd that existing players only get to choose any 1 of the 3 DLCs? But I guess with the cost of the whole package, it can make sense.

EDIT: The verbiage in OP’s screenshot was cut off. The in-game News page actually says, “… any of the three mentioned DLCs that aren’t already in your collection.”
