As it says above the challenge finished but the Francis Drake explorer skin won’t unlock for me.

I’m seeing the same issue. The game had me click “claim reward”, but I can’t apply it.
Shows as complete and I’m on the leaderboard
But I can’t use it

Same here. My British Civ is at level 106, with all customizations and explorers unlocked, except for Francis Drake. I have tried restarting the game, verifying game files for integrity, etc. to no avail. This explorer remains locked. Why?

It seems like a multiplayer game is needed, and this was also the case with the polar bear skin last time
Did a screen pop up for you to unlock it?? I had the same problem, but I just went to home city, change it and then it appeared and I could unlock it.
I got the skin instantly when I opened the game so there might be no additional requirements.
I haven’t played a multiplayer match when the bear skin for the Russian explorer was up for grabs and I still got it, the description mention a multiplayer match or single player skirmish, so that’s unlikely it.

What so you mean “change it”?
let´s say, in the background I had the French Home city and I change it to the british home city.
It seems that some kind of bug is occurring. I tried verifying game files and going to other Home City and coming back, but I couldn’t unlock The Cosmetic.
