actually disable them doesnt speed it up, only by removing them, unsubscribe completely. (unless of course this has been changed since the last time I tested this which was 3-4 months ago, but doubt it.)

Mine took 40 minutes a few days ago. I had given up and was playing Total War and suddenly the Aoe Theme song starts playing. I almost wet myself. Now it won’t start up at all, lol

disabling or unsubscribing mods lessen load time… specially data mod

you can disable it with steam. start option SKIPINTRO will skip intro and let you therefore start faster… well some secs at least xD
I play it on Microsoft store, don’t ask why, lol
