The game was launched in the last week of October 2021… So it’s about 5 mouth ago, not an year. And you can play it on game pass without pay

I did play two betas and I played it on gamepass.
The release version was just as terrible as the last beta before that, with almost no improvements.
At that point I knew the game is doomed, no effort is being put into it by the Devs/publisher.
No buy!
This is the biggest hit in the face of the playerbase ever by Microsoft.
First they had closed ensemble studios, then they released three DE versions in a technically terrible state and now released an alpha version at premium price and call it AAA.
And the sad part is, there are still people who defend this behaviour.
A patch that fixes major release problems 5 months (!!!) after release of a ■■■■■■■ expensive game, should come with a HUGE apology.
But there is no apology by the Devs/MS and the patch won’t fix the game even.
You are correct Aoe3 DE had a major bug which has wiped all data from the PC of several players. But they didn’t stop the game, they left it running until next patch.
Yeah, the game was released not in a good shape, with problems and missing stuff, but where is the problem? Your paid if the game going good or bad? I don’t think. Give time to dev to improve this game. When can go to play elsewhere and come back when we think the game is ok for playing. I start to play aoe2 in 2000… And I leave the game and come back to play so many times in the last 20 years. So why I can’t do the same with aoe4? Just have patience and wait. I have so many other titles to play in meanwhile.
Is the game improving From realese to now? Yes it is, so I have faith

If I buy a game, I pay money and the trade I’m doing means that I’m expecting a full product.
Microsoft does NOT deliver that, hence it’s a scam.
Everyone who’s accepting the scam encourages further scams. Simple as that.
I think there are so many things to do in life that are not worth fighting for these things. Don’t like the game? I play something else and I don’t break. In addition, they offer it to you for free, with the game pass you do not pay for a game … And before you say there’s a subscription to pay, you should know that with Microsoft rewards you earn enough points every month to make your pass free… So there is no scam. You can play it for free.
And if you paid for something you could get for free it’s your problem, don’t make it everyone’s fault. I played more than 300 hours and didn’t pay anything, why should I complain?

Yep. Thats why more than 700.000 people are playing Elden Ring on steam and hundreds of thousands on consoles aswell. Its complete game, the best game Fromsoftware has ever made and easily the best game of the decade. If this game was mady by Todd Howard he would sell it 10 times like he did with Skyrim. Only it doesn’t need mods because its already a masterpiece.
Just play Elden Ring and if this game gets to the state it should be, then you can give it another try.
