Haud status for balance

I think no one (at least me) is arguing to balance for competition only, but to low level should have a limit.
It is impossible to balance for all level players and it shouldn’t consider the players who don’t know the concept of the game, which what I saw from replay or stream those 1400 elo are sometimes not having right concept but just trying to keep the OP build.
This will just create trouble like Sweden was almost unbeatable level at the beginning still had people to say they were weak, also at the same time some people were saying Sweden just fine in the competitive level (I don’t know it really was or not due to I am not competitive player).
That’s why balance should not be only for competition and also should not consider all level without bottom limit, from my opinion.

This is reason I prefer showing data than just showing own opinion.

You are top 1, you think A is OP, how if 2rd thinks A is UP but B is OP? Data is the only thing can tell the truth.

Wouldn’t put the data up there as gospel. It’s a work in progress. And can be misrepresented. For example I played 20 games above 1400, which counted as 10% of the total games. I had not played Haude before competitively and so lost more than I won. Point being any civ with low play rate are effected by only a few players games. This data will be good in time but doesn’t put it above some player’s experience

There’s some matchups in the 1400+ grid that only have 1 single game like Haude-Italians and Haude-Lakota and people still want to treat the 1400+ grid scores as gospel, lol.

This is a great idea. Talk about balance and NOT elo level. Focus on the topic not relative ‘greatness’ levels compared to others. Not self-promoting. Everyone is equal and their opinions are equal and valid.

Whoops.

Yeah, it is tough to say a civ is ‘overpowered’ when it has a low win rate and no one uses it. More likely to be a personal bias against the civ.
