I have this same issue since the latest update. Its almost as if some other input is scrolling when I try and use keyboard. Only holding alt will pause the scroll, but holding alt doesn’t work while playing because it is camera turn button.

Game breaking issue.

I have the same problem can’t figure it out yet .

Since last update I haven’t been able to lunch the game holding Alt will let me click and and navigate through.

I rested all game settings, turned off all background programs I even deleted the game and installed it through steam .

Still same problem

Same issue! Can’t play… :frowning:

Guys for me i solved my problem by disconnecting my pedals for flying planes and now i do not have problem anymore..

check what u have connected to ur pc!

I don’t have any pedals, so i am assuming it has to be some kind of a driver or usb connected device thats sending input.

I will try and disconnecting everything

The game seems to pick up inputs from my flight sim throttle, and moving some axis on the throttle shifts the flickering in menus.

So an update, I re installed windows 2 things that might be causing the problem, the lian li connect or Armoury creat from Asus .

It worked fine until I installed those 2 programs.

Will keep you updated

Quick update i uninstalled both programs and problem still persist . Might do another windows reinstall

what hardware do you have exactly? I have this issue with my Virpil CM3 throttle. Specifically, when I use the analog hat it switches menus, and when spin the left-pinky dial it acts as a mouse click.

For me, I have to unplug Thrustmaster TFRP rudder and Thrustmaster T.16000M. Everything is now working. But the question is why is this happening in this patch.

I do have that virpil throttle, and I did disconnect it only to find out that the game also registered inputs from my logitech rudder pedals.

Honestly much easier to just wait for a patch then to disconnect my sim rig.

this may be indicative of a root cause. I wonder if others who have the problem are using Virpil hardware. I went so far as to unplug every USB I had, even the keyboard and mouse, and the in-game menus still flicker.

I can say that I’ve never used any Virpil hardware.

Keychron mechanical keyboard and a Glorious Model O- mouse are my only two input devices. Tested a couple different keyboards too, all had the same behavior in wired mode, and worked perfectly normally in wireless.

Except an old spare wired Dell membrane keyboard. That works fine. :person_shrugging:

yes i have Virpil ruders and joystick

I still have this issue but i dont have any joystick or rudders

There was a patch today but it did not resolve this game breaker for me

Same issue here, all menus inaccessible both within the actual game play and the startup menus, unless you use the ALT button. Shocking version update error for such a reputable developer. Needs addressing quickly as playing the game is almost impossible. I certainly wont be buying any new expansions until it is fixed!
